Academy

LondonSports.com is where all youths matter. We are in central London, the largest and longest established youth baseball and softball league. For over 20 years we have given boys aged 5 to 13 and girls aged 5 to 15 the opportunity to learn about and play baseball and softball in a safe and fun environment.

New in 2012, we will open an indoor/outdoor Baseball/Softball Academy which will offer our players/coaches the ability to develop their skills and refine their knowledge on the proper mechanics on how to pitch, catch, hit, field and base running. We realise youths develop differently and require patience, so we take this into consideration when we set out a program. Our approach is to make use of an evidence based coaching system whereby we make use of proven modern advances only, in video analysis, conditioning, and training techniques. By using the latest evidence based training techniques in baseball and softball we negate myths of how to develop a players skills and how to properely play the game.

In addition we collaborate with other recognised international baseball instructors/academies to make use of the latest training techniques, and periodically we will host visiting instructors to coach at our Academy. For example, on Sunday, 18th March we will host former MLB professional players to provide a specialised training camp to our players (indoors) in central London. All under the watchful eye of an experienced certified US/UK baseball instructor. We welcome players and coaches from all over. So come join our League and receive the extra benefit of our Academy!
