Senior Girls

Senior Girls (12 - 15 years old): This is a competitive division for girls only. The fundamentals (hitting, base running, fielding, and the rules) of the game are emphasised to players. Players (pitchers) slow pitch to one another in a competitive game (e.g., 6 innings). An umpire is used to call balls and strikes. Players learn how to compete; the emphasis is to build pitching and a player’s maturity on how to compete, but we highlight sportsmanship. Games count in the standings. Before each game there is a minimum of one-hour practise and then followed by a competitive game. At the end of the season, all teams play in an open playoff tournament and they are seeded based off the regular season final standings.
